...there's a picture of my mom next to the word awesome. For serious.

So I banged this out in a couple of hours after my first attempt (which also took a couple of hours) via traditional media epic failed.

The lines were done in Flash (as per usual for me these days) and the colors in Photoshop.

I used a picture I took of my mom as reference. It was on a day where I found a bunch of my old punky jewelry from highschool and for shits and giggles, made her put it on. She was an awesome sport about it, posing, trying to make devil horns (THAT was hysterical), and looking generally disgruntled for the camera. She's pictured here wearing my old choker and fishnet wristwarmer. That expression is all hers though, haha.

I <3 mi madre. She's a crazy little Italian lady and I couldn't ask for anyone better.
